Pre and Post-COVID-19 Financial Performance of Oil and Gas Companies: An Absolute and Relational Study of Financial Variables

The outbreak of COVID-19 affected all aspects of individuals at a worldwide level. It harmed the physically and economically of individuals, and lower the growth of economies, globally. India the third largest consumer of oil and gas was affected by the pandemic, negatively. The study is based on the data collected from the financial statements of Indian oil and gas companies available on the websites. The purpose of the study is to know the financial performance of the Indian oil and gas companies pre and post-COVID-19 pandemic period. The absolute and relational financial variables are applied to get the absolute trend and relational growth of the financial performance of Indian oil and gas companies in graphical form. To explore the profit-earning capacity, short-term paying ability, and long-term paying ability of the Indian oil and gas companies, profitability (profit before tax ratio) ratio, liquidity (current ratio) ratio, and solvency (Debt-Equity ratio) ratio were applied. From 2015 to 2021, the absolute values of revenues, total expenses, and profit before tax were applied to get the trend in graphical form while stacked column charts were prepared to compare the profitability, liquidity, and long-term paying ability of the Indian oil and gas companies. During the pandemic period, total revenues, total expenses, profits, and profitability declined while liquidity and solvency status was unaffected by COVID-19 in Indian oil and gas companies. The profitability of the smaller Indian oil and gas companies improved more than the larger Indian oil and gas companies after the COVID-19 pandemic. It is found that the large-scale production of Indian oil and gas companies was affected more than the smallerscale production of Indian and gas companies by the negativity of the pandemic COVID-19 due to fixed expenses. © 2023 WITPress. Electronic Learning Platforms and Their Impact on Education Quality at Faculties of Tourism and Hospitality during Corona Pandemic

To effectively educate education's students, online platforms are crucial. Unfortunately, they might not be wellrepresented in universities. The goals of the study are determined in this light. The purpose of this paper is to analyze how the use of e-Learning has affected the quality of education in Jordan's tourism and hospitality colleges during the recent Corona virus pandemic. Before doing regression analysis, a survey was sent out to faculty and employees at tourism and hospitality schools. Using SPSS version 22, researchers analyzed responses made on a 37-point Likert scale. An evaluation procedure was performed on it. The initial belief that ELPs are more effective and acceptable reduces the drive to keep taking them. According to linear regression analysis, investments in training, incentives, and assistive technology have a favorable and statistically significant effect on the quality of education provided by tourism and hospitality programs at the university level. How can blockchain revolutionize the health sector during Health Pandemics (Covid-19) in Kingdom of Bahrain

Blockchain is a sort of database that can be used to securely and permanently store data that is entered into the blockchain ledger and cannot be changed or destroyed. It's a database shared by various parties, including banks, insurance companies, hospitals, patients, and doctors. Because mistakes are made while moving information from one system to another, whether due to human error or malicious attack, every transaction in the blockchain ledger will have its own identification number and will use encryption for security and privacy. The research is a discussion about Types of blockchain technology's in the healthcare industry and points out three applications as An electronic health record that provides security and privacy, A platform called MiPasa uses smart contact tracing applying Hyperledger Fabric based framework, and the telecare system that applies sensors to store medical records and monitors patient's condition. Visitor Management System Design and Implementation during the Covid-19 Pandemic

In today's computer technology environment, the effect of IT plays a significant part in all real-time systems. Various management systems are in place to help the company organization achieve profit, standards, and future commercial growth. The VMS is important for monitoring how many visitors are there, what the objective of the facility visit will be, and who will be put in the block listed record due to rule violation. This technology also protects the building's overall security. The goal of this system is to synchronize the organization's business and visitors in order to achieve a wonderful connection among organizations globally. The background was compiled from many papers that discussed similar subjects and were connected to the system. In addition, the limitations and analyses of the present system have been addressed in order to demonstrate the organization's demands for a new system. In part three, we will go through the project planning, covering the feasibility study, Gantt chart, and software methodology in specific stages. Stepping on functional and non-functional requirements of the system, it is covered in the same chapter, as well as the system steps in the implementation part of section four, and finally with clear and direct conclusion and recommendations in section five with future work of the visitor management system, which will be added after the system is implanted in the organization and other related organizations. © 2022 NSP.
